History of Halloween Contact Lenses
Contact lenses have been used in the movie industry at least as far back as 1939, to make monsters more realistic. They have been used in many recent films, including Interview with the Vampire, the X-men series, and many more. Some rock stars also use them.
These kinds of contact lenses used to be very expensive, but now almost anyone can afford them.
Prior to 1971, only hard lenses were available, and many people could not wear them. Soft contacts are safe and comfortable for most people.
If you have not been fitted for contacts before, you will have to visit your local optometrist, who will measure you eyes so that you can get contacts that fit your eye size and shape.
